Leksi Tips & Tricks
Master your word game skills with our collection of strategies and tips.
Strategy
- Balance saving tiles for longer words against the risk of filling up the board
- Be patient — longer words earn more points than quick three-letter plays
- Game speed increases with each level, so managing your pace matters
Scoring
- Word length multipliers reward ambition: 5-letter words score 1.5×, 6-letter words 2×, 7-letter words 2.5×, and 8+ letter words hit a massive 3× multiplier
- Every letter has a point value — common letters like E, A, and I are worth less points, while rarer letters like Q and Z are worth more.
- High-value letters like J, X, Q, and Z are worth hunting for — pairing them with a long word is the best way to get a big score
Slowpoke (Slowdown Bonus)
- Playing a word of 5 letters or more triggers a slowdown bonus — tiles will fall more slowly for the next 3 words
- The longer the word, the bigger the slowdown — it scales up at 5, 6, 7, and 8+ letters, where you hit the maximum effect
- Bonuses stack; chaining long words back-to-back slows the tiles down more
- When you level up mid-bonus, the slowdown carries over and scales to the new speed — so a well-timed long word before a level-up is especially valuable
Power-ups
- Swap — invert the position of two tiles.
- Joker tile — A handy blank tile! Joker tiles don't count toward your letter score, but they do count toward word length — so they still trigger multipliers and slowdown bonuses
- Bomb — great for getting rid of difficult areas, and a lifesaver when you have a dangerously tall tile stack
